Buy Now Pay Later
Returning an item bought with BNPL involves both the retailer and the BNPL provider. Here is what typically happens to your instalments and how to follow up.
A retail return does not always cancel BNPL instalments instantly. The retailer must confirm the return and the provider must adjust or refund the balance. Gaps between those steps are a common source of confusion — and occasional duplicate collection attempts.

If an instalment falls due while the return is being processed, some providers may still collect it and refund later. Others pause collections once a return is logged. Check the app and contact support if a collection looks wrong.
Do not ignore a collection during a return
If funds are taken in error, document dates and ask both the retailer and BNPL provider for a written update rather than waiting indefinitely.
Returning part of an order should reduce the BNPL balance for the returned value. Multi-item baskets can take longer to reconcile. Verify the remaining schedule still matches what you kept.
