Stocks & Shares ISA in brief

A Stocks & Shares ISA can shelter eligible investments from UK capital gains tax and dividend tax within annual allowance rules. You can usually access ISA money without waiting until pension age.

SIPP in brief

A Self-Invested Personal Pension (SIPP) is designed for retirement saving. Contributions may attract tax relief subject to rules, but access is generally restricted until pension access age.

Compare [SIPPs](/invest/sipps) and [Stocks & Shares ISAs](/invest/stocks-and-shares-isa) on fees and features — then consider workplace pensions and your wider tax position. This is not personal tax advice.
